GES students have voted! We will do Crazy Sock and Slipper day next Thursday, Oct. 9.
CCSD2 is excited to announce that we will begin using Rooms, which is a two-way messaging app. The intent is for Rooms to replace Remind and Class Dojo to ensure a more unified communication system. Parents/guardians should have received an invite via text. Here is some additional information regarding Rooms. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Fall sports parent/athlete meeting will be on Monday, August 11th at 6 pm @ the football stadium.
High School Golf practice begins Monday, August 11th. All other Fall sports programs will begin Monday, August 18th.
Thursday is the last day of school. Students are dismissed early. GES dismisses at 11:15. You can take your child straight from Track Day if you'd like. Otherwise, they'll come back to GES and either be picked up there or ride the bus home (Boys and Girls Club is closed this week)
GES: Due to the rainy and cold weather predicted tomorrow, we are moving track day to Thursday the 22nd at 8:30-11 at GJSHS. We want Track Day to be a fun experience. 3rd graders will do their Graduation Walk at the high school track after we end Running. Thank you for understanding
GES Track Day is two weeks out. You can meet your child at GJSHS Track at 9 AM on the 19th. They will grab a lunch at 11:30, and they are welcome to leave with you. Just check out with the teacher.
Kinder wear Purple. 1st wear White. 2nd wear Red. 3rd wear blue.
GES Students have worked hard to earn coins. They voted to bring a Stuffy to school. We will do this on Thursday, May 1.
GES: Tomorrow Our school will be heading to GJSHS at 9 AM to view the Kindergarten Circus. We will be there until about 10 AM. If you need your child at that time, please come to the High School. We will return to GES at about 10:15.
The public viewing for parents is at 11:00 at GJSHS
GES Families: Please find the attached flyer for the upcoming music performance at GIS. We are trying something new this year, so please find the arrival directions at the * on the flyer.
Kinder Parents: Next Thursday is Circus Day. Please help your child be to school on time. The parent showing is at 11:00 at GJSHS Gym. Students will go home with you after the show.
GES Students have art displayed at the library art show! Head over to check it out. It's up and running until May 16th!
GES Families, Track Day is on the calendar! We will be holding it on May 19 at GJSHS in the morning! More specifics will be sent out as the time gets closer.
