Student Services

Our goal is to provide the answers and resources to help make your son or daughter’s educational experience a positive one. If you ever have any questions about the services your child receives, or if you feel your child should be receiving services, please give us a call. We are always happy to help you.

Common Core

The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) are an updated set of academic standards that have been developed with the intention of unifying learning expectations for students across all states. These standards define kindergarten through twelfth grade learning that will ensure that students are well prepared for postsecondary education and career.

Visit our Academics page to learn more about how our district curriculum aligns with Common Core.

Special Education Services

We know how challenging it can be for parents to find resources to help their child with special needs succeed in school. We also understand that with so many rights, rules, regulations, forms, and jargon, it can be intimidating for parents and difficult to understand the process.

Visit our Special Education page to learn more about the services we offer.

Academic Plus

We require high school students who are failing a class to participate in the Academic Plus program, which runs from 12:21 p.m. to 3:05 p.m. on scheduled Fridays in all academic areas. Academic Plus does not run on district early dismissal days.

No Child Left Behind

Under the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001, all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) must maintain an LEA Plan approved by the Wyoming State Board of Education. The LEA Plan is a legally binding document that provides details about the LEA’s implementation of No Child Left Behind and other related state-funded programs.

View our district's NCLB information to learn more about the ways we implement this program.
