Is there a dress code at Converse schools?

Cleanliness and dress are vital not only to the individual but also to those with whom the student shares a classroom or locker. We do not allow students to wear distracting, hazardous, or unsanitary clothing or styles that create a disruption in the classroom. Students should avoid grooming and dress that prevent anyone from doing their best work. Administrators may send inappropriately dressed students home to change, ask them to change into appropriate clothing at school, or confine them to the school office until the end of the day. We ask all our students to use good judgment; play clothes are for play, and school clothes are for school. School personnel reserve the right to prohibit all forms of dress and appearance that, in their judgment, are a safety/health hazard or destructive to the school learning environment.
